Summer Survival is in full swing and I am cranking out the layouts. I am really loving what I have created in the last couple of weeks. I should have uploaded sooner so it wasn't so many in one shot but what can I say? So I will get started and give a brief description of each layout.

This is a layout about a conversation I had with Alex about taking his lollipop out of his mouth so I could take his photo.
This is one I did because Lucas is always so bright and happy. He always has a smile on his face, what a great kid.
This one I did because he is my 1st born and I want him to know that while I love them all the same he has a special place because he was 1st. Poor kid, mom had to practice on him.
What can I say? I love this man with all my heart and any photo I get that I can do a LO to tell him about my love, I jump on it.

This is one I did about the inner battle that everyone has, yours might be about completely different issues then mine but we all have them. Sometimes it helps to get is all out and now I can file this in my album or into file13 and maybe forget some of those issues.
I posted some photos about this a while back, Luci brought home some bubble wrap for the kids to pop and they had a great time. What a great Dad he is.
This is something I say to Lucas all the time because he is so pretty. He hates it and I think it is so funny.
I had them pose for me acting serious and then acting normal and I am so pleased with how this layout turned out.
Nicholas is going through his awkward gangly stage and it is so hard to get a good photo of him now, but I got one when we were in Disney and had to scrap it.

This boy is rotten to the core. I don't know where he gets it from, certainly not me LOL.
Whenever Alex has Mountain Dew he is bouncing off the walls, so we have to be very careful with the stuff.
I loved this photo I got of Lucas' eyes, we will have to beat the girls off of him in a few years.
I asked Luci if he wanted a piece of cake and he said no, so I cut me a piece and when my back was turned he nabbed my piece and started eating it.
Alex didn't want to go to bed because we wasn't tired. Luci told him to sit on the couch and watch TV while he got a shower. When he came out from the shower, this is what he found.

Out to Dinner

Rachel is over, visiting from England. She is originally from New Zealand, a Kiwi, but now lives in England with her partner, Ade. She work at a design agency and he does computer work, don't ask me what, I am illiterate to all that. She is such a fun and vibrant person. Really lights up a room. I always saw her user name and thought that she must really like the kiwi fruit or the color. So of coarse I asked and she told me that all people from New Zealand are called Kiwis. You learned something new everyday.
We decided to take her out to eat and Luci immediately thought of Sakura. It's a Japanese Steak House. We absolutely love eating there. The atmosphere is awesome and out cook was hilarious. We have taken the kids in the past and they love the fire and the show. As I was sitting there I realized that I am just like them, the food is awesome but I go for the show. LOL
It was funny, Rachel has a big nice cannon camera with the huge lens, looks like a professional. She asked the cook if he minded her taking pictures. He said it was fine but that he hoped he didn't break the camera. So she is shooting away and I reach into my purse and pull out my little canon camera, when you looked at us both, I looked like I was in training and couldn't handle a big camera yet. LOL I guess I am, I am slowly working my way up. It stinks though, about the time I get a camera figured out and can work it properly, it's time to get a new one and I am fumbling all over again. I need to get out my owner's manual.
We had a great time and I hope we get to do it again before she leaves to go back home.

Rachel and I sitting at the table.
Our menu and beautiful napkin. Can you tell I am a scrapper by my photos?
Luci and Rachel

This was when our cook lit the onion on fire. Always love that part.
Our cook, he was so funny and the food was yummy.

Summer Stash Challenge

I took this picture of Nicholas as he was mid air jumping into a mud puddle. We went over to a friends and they were all playing in a huge mud puddle and so I let my boys go out to play as well. Nicholas was my first baby and so he was never aloud to get dirty. I got over that real quick after baby 2 and 3. He was so excited to play in the mud. I sat and tried to think about the last time he had played in the mud and I realized that he never had. He had such a great time that day.
I did a layout for the summer stash challenge at Homegrown Scrapbooks and I chose this picture. I think that the colors in the picture scream summer. I used K & Company Paper, Thickers, Bazzil Just the Edge, and what is a LO without a few buttons. Hope you enjoy it as much as he enjoyed the mud puddle.
