Already?

Can you believe that my baby boy is turning five at the end of May? I can't believe how the time flies. He will be starting school in the fall. What will I do with myself with all the kids in school now? LOL I will have a cleaner house, until they get home. So we took a trip to the party store and this is what he picked out for his birthday. He loves Curious George, when I go anywhere he always tells me to be a good little monkey. I thought he would have choose something more violent. Like transformers, army, or even pirates because lets face it, with 3 older boys in the house and a Daddy who likes to wrestle he is a little on the violent side. LOL It will be nice to have somewhat of a normal age appropriate theme this year.

Headed to Crop...

at Strawberry Fields today. I am uploading photos to pick up on the way and then I will be scrapping my heart out. I almost feel guilty because I am going to be there all day next Saturday cropping, but I just can't quit build it up inside me to feel that way. LOL I hope everyone has a great day.

Cup Cake Birthday Card

I made this card with the Kaiser, Sugar Sugar collection for Pam at Strawberry Fields. I used a Prima flower, MM trim, & clear sugar glitter. It was such a fun little card to make, I free hand cut it and folded the bottom to look like a cup cake paper. On the inside I cut out a cup cake from the PP and stickled it a little bit and pop dotted it out. TFL

NEW LIME RICKEY

Strawberry Fields now has the new Basic Grey, Lime Rickey. I helped get it all in the system and out on the shelves last Friday. So what do you do with new Basic Grey? Sit down and scrap it. Here is my first LO that I created. This is me and Alex dancing in the kitchen together.

Our trip!

What a great time we had at Epcot together. We met a lot of the characters, ate a lot of food and just had a relaxing day. I decided to wear a dress, I never wear dresses except to church. We got inside the gate and I looked at Luci and said no one is laughing a pointing at me. LOL He said why would they? He is such a guy. We just kind of went at our own pace and just really enjoyed our time together. Here are some photos of our trip.

Here We Come!!

Luci and I are off for a mini vacations by ourselves. Yep you heard it right we have shipped the kids and the dog to various people and are about to leave for our weekend away. I am super excited. We are going to Epcot! See you when we get back.

This weekend was fun filled and jam packed with things to do. Saturday we had a work day at the church followed by a bar b q and then the egg hunt. Saturday evening we went to Applebee's and then back home to have a movie night. We watched Marley and Me, it was really good but kind of sad. Sunday we all got up and got our Easter clothes on and headed off to church. After church we went over to my Mom's for dinner. My brothers and their families came as well. We all actually got along and there was no fighting. This is a big deal in my family, we never ALL get together without at least one argument. Mark it down as a milestone. Here is a LO that I did for Strawberry Fields, can you believe I took the photo before I handed it over? Another milestone. LOL
This is Lucas when we went on our camping trip. He looks so happy here, but then again he is always happy. I used the new Fancy Pants Paper and overlay, new Prima flowers, bazzill flowers, stickles, Kaisers rhinestones and some odds and ends from my stash. Easter Egg Fun!!!

Today we had an Egg Hunt at our church. The kids had so much fun. Who ever brought the most guest won a big bucket of change and our kids had the most guests. They were super excited and can't wait to count it all. Here are a few photos of the day. The first is Nicholas and Lucas running to find their eggs. The one of Luci is to showcase his name tag, we couldn't decided what age he was so we gave him an age group. LOL Alex won a prize basket for his age group, it was pink but pink candy tastes as good as any other. He didn't care, he has decided that he is going to use the pink basket to hunt eggs at his grandma's tomorrow. LOL

Layout Overlaod

I have been so busy down at Strawberry Fields Scrapbook Shop that I haven't had time to photograph and post my LOs that I have created. Usually I created a LO at Strawberry Fields and leave it there or I create it at home at take it right over for Pam to display. I ALWAYS forget to take a photo of it. So today I took my camera to the store and pulled some of my LOs and snapped away. These are a few that have accumulated over the past month or so. TFL.

Scrap N Supply Shack is having it’s first guest design team member contest.
Submit one layout and one card to Scrap N Supply Shack’s Flickr gallery contest folder. http://www.flickr.com/groups/1025081@N25/ Both have to be newly created using the sketch provided on our message board under Guest Design Team forum. Then leave a link on the message board to your submissions. Upload your layouts to our Flickr Gallery with contest entry and your name as your title. Your layouts must include a title, photo(s) and journaling. Layouts will be judged by our design team on creativity and best overall design.
The winning layout and card will earn a spot on our team for the month of May, and this Guest Designer will get to work with our May kit.
Contest Guidelines:
1. One (1) layout an one (1) card entry per person.
2. Your layout and card must be NEWLY CREATED for this contest and not posted elsewhere during the contest period.
3. Deadline for entries is April 10th ,midnight Mountain time, so we can announce our winner on or before April 13th and get a kit to you for a May 1st release.
4. We are accepting US entries only at this time.
5. Your photo and bio will be featured on our blog and we will need these within a few days of your acceptance.
6. You'll receive one our May kits and will be required to complete at least 3 layouts and 1 altered project.
7. Be an active member in the Scrap N Supply Shack Forum having a minimum of 7 posts per week during the month of May.
